Breaking News:

I am moving to Seattle with Scout. If you've seen me recently, you've already heard because I have a big blabber mouth. I'm going to study museology at the University of Washington. It's a bit of a shock because it's not what I expected at all, and it's kind of a big deal!!! Mostly because I will definitely get to touch real dinosaur bones.

From Wikipedia: Museology (also called museum studies or museum science) is the study of museums. It explores the history of museums and their role in society, as well as the activities they engage in, including curating, preservation, public programming, and education.

Ok, and not to brag a little bit, but it's one of the top three programs in the country (for museology). It's the first time that I've tried to do something on purpose in my entire life. No more free-falling, I've got wings now, baby.

Open House:

The open house was 10-5, no breaks lol. But it was really awesome and fun, and there was a lot of free food! The other accepted students were like "this is crazy," and I was like "I know, right?" Here are the characters so far:

E1 - Is from Boston and is still deciding. They have a science degree of soome sort I think. Their thesis was on little teeny tiny creatures.

J1 - Is very whimsical. Thir focus is on anthropoology (I think).

E2 - Is art history girly, and she's very cool girl.

R - Is into anthropology and is baby genius. She is maybe like 20. Brought her mom Ann with her which was really cute.

A - Wore a really cool necklace.

D - Is already a practicing paleotologist but wants to get into museums. This guy is really into bones. Respect.

J - Is an older man looking to expand his career. Slay.

Then there were a few people who I did not talk to at all, but I am excited to meet them. Everyone there is either queer or looks queer.

Right now Scout is looking for a cool guy PT job in Seattle and I'm looking for a part time job. Something fun I hope. We (Scout and I) have some serious logistical stuff to figure out.

I really love Saint Louis and everyone in it. Genuinely feels like my home here minus my job that I hate. But I really believe that when the universe gives you a gift, you have to take it.
